HPV 16&18 and Bacterial Vaginosis

A year ago I was diagnosed with high risk HPV (16&18 high risk strain which can lead to Cervical Cancer) and Bacterial Vaginosis.
My first initial reaction was disgust with myself, sadness, anger, confusion and probably most of the similar emotions a person would feel it when they first find out they had an STD.
I ended up having to have a colposcopy done on my cervix, Pelvic Exam and PAP Test (sample of vaginal discharge). They were concerned that I could possibly have some pre-cancerous cells. The colposcopy literally scared me.
Once I got my results back from the colposcopy and the PAP Test, which were positive for HPV and Bacterial Vaginosis.
My BV's symptoms were yellow smelly vaginal discharge after sex. HORRIBLE!!!
I started a treatment for both diseases with Cervugid Ovules and Isoprinosine Tablets (antiviral) recommended by my obgyn that I consider the best doctor in NY. He told me to take one suppository per night for 12 nights and 4 tablets of Isoprinosine per day. Treatment is with 3 boxes of Cervugid Ovules and 3 boxes of Isoprinosine first time and another 3 boxes from each after 6 months. I felt positive about using the medicines.
After I followed all the treatment I returned to the doctor to replenish medical test. It was the best day of my life then the result came back negative for HPV and free of BV, the PAP test came back to normal.
I'm so happy that i got rid of this terrible virus HPV.
